R-370 Goniometer Set |

The evaluation test of a patient with muscular skeletal disorders is essential for the clinicians who want to give the patient adequate treatment. In 1974, zero degree was standardized as the starting position of each joint. The practical use of the “Zero-Starting Position” has over time been improved by the experience achieved by “The Orthopedics Society of Japan” and “The Rehabilitation Medical Society of Japan”. However, the measuring method caused problems due to difficulties in using the old style goniometers. Some joints was difficult to measure, and it was impossbile to measure movement in two directions from the Zero-Starting Position. By using the Tiger Goniometer Set R-370, clinicians do not have this kind of problems any more. The R-370 allows you to do precise measurements of joint angles as well as range of motion. It provides you clear and easy readings.

This goinometer is a pendulum type. This feature provides easy measuring
of exercise angles, and the pendulum has a nice smooth movement and a scale
readable in two directions. Because it is equipped with a magnet on the
right angle axis, you have the option to paste the two main parts together.
Also, by placing them on the T-type Ruler, which is optional, forearm pronation/supination
exercise can be easily measured.

This is made of transparent plastic and has two 180 degrees scales mounted
in two directions. This gives you the options of measuring angles and the
range of motion in joints like shouler, elbow, and knee. Because zero degree
on the scale is at the right-angled position, it is convenient to measure
of flexion/extension of ankle or adduction/abduction of hip.

This is designed to measure finger joints on adults as well as on children's
hands.

This is designed to measure ankle joints in a standing position, flexion
of shoulder and knee joints with supine lying, and rotation of hip with
prone lying.

This Goniometer has two movable axis besides one fixed one. One can be
used as a mark of 90 or 180 degrees. This is designed to measure horizontal
flexion and extension of shoulder joints. Angles of flexion and extension
can be measured at one time by using the two movable axis. This is a time
saving feature.
