- At the DOS prompt, invoke:
|
> gzip-1.2.4-i386 -d partboot-1.6.21-usb.tgz > tar-1.11.2-i386 xvf partboot-1.6.21-usb.tar |
Now You'll retrieve all files.
- Move partboot-1.6.21-usb.img and rawrite.exe in C:
- Rename partboot-1.6.21-usb.img as partboot.img, because rawrite does not recognize long file names.
- At the DOS prompt, invoke:
| > rawrite |
Rawrite first asks you for the filename of a disk image; enter the filename with its full path:
| Enter disk image source file name:C:\partboot.img |
Then rawrite asks for a disk drive to write the image to:
| Enter target diskette drive:A: |
Finally, rawrite asks for confirmation that a writable disk is in the drive you have selected. After pressing [Enter] to confirm, rawrite copies the image file onto the disk.
Now change disks and write supp.img as well.
