Our first concert was held in "the Orange-room" in the Departmentstore "Panjo "in Sakai city, Osaka in 1983. After that, we are having many concert in each place in Kansai area. Our name "Quelle" means a fountain in German. The origin of the name is "Izumi"(South Osaka) that means a fountain in Japanese. Our band is composed of 2 Vl, Va, Vc, Kb(leader:Kazuo Okuda), and Pf. We play by the various style, from duet to sextet, and sometimes with guest soloist of woodwind, brass, and strings, vocalist, and so on.

ŸAKIKO OKUDA(FIRST VIOLIN) In 1971 won the first Prize by all Japan music competition in westdistrict.In 1976 Graduate at Toho Gakuen School of Music. In 1979 Graduate of Staatliche Hochschule fur Musik in Wuerzburg in Germany.Studies with Yuji Tougi, Machie Oguri, Tuguo Tokunaga, Hideo Saito, Saburo Sumi, Konrad von der Goltz.As a soloist played with Wuerzburg Kammerorchstra,Seoul Sinfonietta etc..Since 1983 played as a first Violinist of Ensemble Quelle.Lecturer at Yuhigaoka Highschool and Soai music School.
ŸREIKO MORITA(SECOND VIOLIN) In 1973 won the first Prize by all Japan music competition in westdistrict. Graduate of both the Post-and Under graduate programs at So-ai University of Music.In 1982 Recital in Kobe.In 1983 went to Europe to study by Dr.Ortner and D.Fister.As a soloist many times played with Century Orchestra Osaka,Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra,Euphonika Symphony Orchestra.Studies with Yuji Tougi,Saburo Sumi,Yoshio Un-no.Lecture at So-ai Highschool and So-ai University of Music.Concertmistress of Ensemble Schutz.
ŸYUKO NAGAMATSU(VIOLA) Graduate at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.Won the Diploma at all Japan music competition in NAGOYA-district.Since Studing at Tokyo National University played as a member of Quartet"Re Nahle".Studies Violin with Takeo Inoue,Nobuya Urakawa,Keiko Yajima and then studies Viola with Toshiyuki Uzuka,also Chambermusic with Kiyoshi Okayama.Plays at Century Orchestra Osaka.
ŸSHUNSUKE HINO(VIOLONCELLO) Graduate at Kyoto University of Fine Arts and Music in 1984.Won the Prize of Kyoto Music-association in 1984.1984-1989 Solocellisit at Kobe Chamber Ensemble 1989-1994 Solocellist at Century Orchestra Osaka.Studies Violoncello with Toshio Kuronuma,Noboru Kamimura,Fumiaki Kono and studies Chambermusic with Himari Umehara,Momoo Kishibe.
ŸHIROMI MORITA(PIANO) Graduate of both the Post-and Under
graduate programs at Osaka college of music.Studies with A.Dikov,P.Skoda,K.Schilde.Tatsutoshi
Ogawa,Yasuyo Kitai,Kazuko Yasukawa,Toyoaki Matsuura,Joujiro Hirai.Very
active plays as Soloist, Chambermusician and Korepetitor of Operahaus of
Osaka college of music. Lecturer at Musicschool at Osaka college of music.
